The OCT scanning machine creates amazing three-dimensional color images of your retina and its various layers in great detail.
An OCT scan is painless and very quick (takes less than a minute) and does not usually require eyedrops.
This technology helps enormously to identify a variety of retinal health issues at the very earliest stage, particularly macula degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease (retinopathy).
